so who dressed michelle obama for the inauguration?

Isabel Toledo! The Cuba-born American designer, who was impressed to see Michelle chose one of her designs for a fundraiser in Manhattan this past Fall, designed Michelle Obama’s lovely chartreuse/yellow dress and overcoat. Now  I do praise the first lady for making sacrifices for the sake of fashion, but golly, get the woman a scarf! It’s cold out there!

Wondering about Michelle’s choice for the Inaugural Ball? Her one-shouldered, white/cream gown covered in embellished flowers was designed by Jason Wu.

Looks like this first lady is keen to keep people guessing and knows a thing or two about fashion. Wu has garnered much praise from the fashion in just three short years of launching his own label.
