If packaging and design are everything then Lola’s take the cake for winning over my taste buds despite the fact that I’ve never eaten one of its gorgeous creations. I’m in love with its packaging — basic cardboard boxes stamped with the bakery’s sans-serif logo, and of course how can one overlook the tidy little cupcakes hiding inside that package? The bakery features more than ten cake flavors, including peanut butter and coconut (two of my favorites!), and its frosting options are endless — sprinkles, edible images, fruit, you name it. Yum!
The UK-based bakery also specializes in cakes (including a giant cupcake cake and a cake made with cupcakes set on top!). To all those lucky souls living on the other side of the pond, check out Lola’s and let us know if its cupcakes are indeed as delectable as they look!
